90-day Internet Marketing Face Lift

This post is dedicated to those of you who:

  • are just getting started
  • are struggling to earn a decent income online
  • has been at it for a while without much success
  • are already relatively successful but have lost motivation to do more…
  • and everybody else in-between

Believe it or not, unless you just started in the last few weeks, most of you already know more than enough to start earning a life-changing income online.

I met a gentleman recently who had just started his internet marketing business who earned $4000.00 his first six weeks! (The funny thing is, he barely knew how to turn on a computer when he started) And the income is a sustainable recurring income that will keep paying him daily with only a few hours of tweaking every month.

So, what did he do?

Well, he chose affiliate marketing as his business model and used a simple strategy very similar to what Gregg and I shared in Super Simple Marketing Report - Issue 2. That’s it.

He didn’t worry about everything else. He figured out what worked in the first couple of weeks in his business, then put the pedal to the metal to earn over $100 per day with affiliate marketing (and growing).

Can you do the same?

Yes, absolutely.

Will you experience quick results?

Perhaps… it could take a bit longer, or it could take even less time (because chances are you know 100 times more about this than he did when he started).

So, what’s my point exactly?

Simply this:

Take the next 90-days, starting on August 1st, and work your business like there was no tomorrow. Don’t buy any new products, don’t study any new material unless it relates directly to your business model or deals with mindset (self-development)… instead go out and apply what you already know.

The way I look at it is this:

The next 90-days will pass whether you like it or not.
So you can choose to just sit on your ass (thinking you need to know more to succeed - which by the way is a self-limiting belief) or bust your ass for the next 90-days and build your business on purpose. Make a commitment to yourself and your family to just "bring it" and experience success.

So think of a reward for yourself or a specific monetary goal that you want to achieve at the end of the 90-days - whether it’s to create enough income to pay your mortgage every month; or take your dream vacation to wherever (I’m talking first class all the way); get enough $$ to go to the proposed E1KaD seminar; bring your wife / husband "home"; or to simply QUIT YOUR DAY JOB! You get the idea.

So how do you implement this? First, you need to take the next week to prepare for your 90-day business face lift:

  1. Choose a business model - take inventory of what you already know. What are your current assests, e.g. knowledge, domains, PLR material, ideas etc. - what has worked for you in the past?
  2. Write down as many 5BaD projects as you can (as they relate to your chosen business model) - OR - write down as many niches you want to enter… and keep adding to it during the next 90-days.
  3. Get a calendar and map out a game plan for the next 90-days. Figure out what you are doing each and every day for your business ahead of time using the list you created in the previous step (in other words, "build your business on purpose"). A good way to do this is to create a weekly game plan that you repeat each and every week. If you don’t know how to create a game plan, watch the video I created on creating a game plan for your business in Super Simple Marketing Report Issue 1.
  4. Get a notebook - this will be your accountability journal, in other words write down exactly what you did at the end of every day. Do this EVERY DAY - it is extremely important that you do this every day.
  5. Set aside 15 - 30 minutes every day for self-improvement (whether it’s reading, listening, prayer, meditation, visualization…)
  6. Pick the date you are going to get started. The prep work should not take more than 3 or 4 days (at the most) - so don’t push the date out too far. (As of this writing, August 1st seems like a pretty good target.)

That’s it. You are now ready to get started and change your business and your life once and for all.

If you truly prepare and take massive action for the next 90-days, it’s virtually impossible not to succeed with Internet Marketing.

Some of you may think: "Why 90-days?"

Because it’s long enough to make an impactful change on your life. Running an Internet Marketing empire is a "lifestyle change"… even if you’re not looking to quit your job and work at home, it requires a level of commitment to start experiencing success.

You don’t get extraordinary results from playing at this - buying the latest and greatest course or the most recent WSO. You get results by applying what you already know in a consistent fashion - then scaling it out as needed.

Gregg and I are taking the next 90-days to do the same. Re-apply our focus and take our business to a completely different level.

Personally, I’ve used the 90-day challenge strategy in several areas of my life with great results and have used this strategy ever since I read the book "Body For Life" by Bill Phillips several years ago (if you don’t own it, I highly encourage you to get it - the mindset portion of his book translates well to IM, even though the book was written for the weightloss market). I have committed myself for the next 90-days to change other areas of my life as well (I’ll share some results elsewhere). And expect nothing but incredible results.

Ultimately I’m using the next 90-days as a launch pad for something greater - simply because I’m disappointed with the lack of results this year…

What about you? Are you happy with how your business have grown this year?

If not, make the next 90-days count. And see how it will impact your life…

Just bring it!

What a timely post… I just came to this same conclusion myself.

Looking over the past year, I felt I worked a lot, but didn’t get very far. So, I took a look at my past online and identified what I did that made a real difference. Like you said, I already knew how to move my online business forward, I just wasn’t doing it.

Yesterday I wrote a 2 page battle plan for the next 3 months. It includes improving things that are already working, adding some new things to the mix and spending some real time on the traffic methods that have proven to be effective long term.

I expect these next 3 months to be more effective and profitable than anything I’ve done in the past year.

Thanks for the kick in the pants… it is easy to get comfortable and complacent in all areas of life, and IM is no exception. Thank you!

This is some good advice. You will never be successful if you don’t work and make a plan. It is easier to attain short term small goals, so focus on those. You have a great idea of making a detailed blueprint on your calendar, this way it is easy to follow and keep up with things. Good luck to us all!
