My Favorite Speech of All Time?

I’ve written about this in the past and even posted the it on my blog before, but thought I’d share it again.

One of my favorite speeches of all time… Steve Jobs’ 2005 Stanford Commencement Address.

Those who know me probably can understand why…

My favorite quote from the speech: “Death is the single best invention of life”. (you have to listen to the speech to “get it”).

Another really powerful speech (ok, so it’s not technically a speech since it’s actually a lecture) is Randy Pausch’s “Last Lecture”. I found it to be very powerful and moving. If you haven’t seen it, you ought to…

Have a great one!

LOL, look at the Stanford staff behind Jobs, one of them puts his head in his hands when Jobs talks about the merits of dropping out :)

@Montana: LOL@ disgruntled Stanford employee :). Anyway, Jobs makes up for it later on when he says that the caligraphy class actually did help him :)

Steven, I couldn’t agree more with you. Found the speech while doing some research on him and forwarded to all of my colleagues, as a must see video. Amazing.
